Paradise Lost Manga Project is a manga take of a narrative poem/novel by John Milton. The Client suggested to have a more modern “anime” look of the the classic poem/novel.

The Project started as a request by kellysinglondon, which consists of 54 pages.

It was a bit challenging as there are a lot of characters in the story, and the project was estimated to be in a one-month timeframe.

The workflow is very simple, we work on a page-by-page basis, the client provides the specifications on the current page, then I return with the sketch of how it’s gonna look. Once it’s approved, I make a clean line-art of the sketch.

The pipeline is very simple also, we just organized on a Google Drive sheet

This way, the client can keep track on the remaining pages, as they also are coming up with the details of the upcoming pages.

Manga creation is not really my discipline, I just enabled it in my profile, as I was getting requests to create one. I was hesitant at first, but I thought, maybe I’ll just figure it out along the way.

Plus, making comics or manga is one of my dreams when I was a kid. Sometimes when we really want something, it takes someone else’s push for us to really create it, even if at times we don’t have any idea how it’s done.
